Sleep Deprivation and The Effects to Your Body

Everybody needs to sleep. Our body needs to relax in order to create form then break something. Sleep indeed is our primary need, because during sleep our body creates energy so we can get up and work by the next day. Sometimes, everyone can fall into a sleep deprivation state. How come? And what the effects to our body? How to overcome it? Want to know? Read this article carefully and there might be some tips for you instead of getting some sleeping pills.

Sleep deprivation could cause longer nap during the day

Our body has a good regulation to manage sleep, there is so called a biological clock set in our brain. This biological clock regulated by a hormone produced in our brain: Melatonin. A sleep deprivation can disturb the work of this hormone. Most of the causes of sleep deprivation is our mental status that leads to stress or depression, and snoring.

Sleep deprivation can cause many health problems to our body:

1. High blood pressure

2. Increased risk of diabetes

3. Irritability

4. Obesity

5. Brain cognitive impairment

Some people would suggest to consume some sleeping pills to get their sleep deprivation fixed, but it is not the solution because it could trigger drug tolerance which you need more and more bigger doses to help you to sleep if the source of your sleep deprivation problem is not well solved. So if the stress or depression is the main source of your sleep deprivation, it is recommended that you solve it through a psychiatrist or psychologist consult. Just remember, sleeping pill is not the solution to put you to sleep, when you get in the morning, the problems you currently have, would always get back to your head.

Speak up your problems to the psych will aid you in repressing your bad mental status

Here are some tips that you can follow:

1. Start to speak up your problem to your trusted friend.

2. Do not drink coffee, tea, or chocolate before going to sleep.

3. Drink a glass of warm milk will help you to sleep.

4. Read some books.

5. Play some soft music.

6. Soak your body in warm water, this tips would help you to relax and release the tension.
