First Step Community Group (FSCG) is voluntary association of people who share a common goal and desire to overcome alcohol, drug, sex, gambling, eating disorders, computer, and any other type of self-destructive addiction. We believe in active involvement within our addiction recovery community group correlates with higher chances of increasing and maintaining sobriety. It’s a recovery bridge based on our rehabilitation and recovery treatment program especially for our out-patients rehab treatment who needs to acvitely working within their after care addiction treatment programs.

First Step Community Group’s website is an educational site where we provide our community with online resources for addicts, family members, friends, or any volunteers who share common interests to fight against addiction including how to seek professional help with an addiction or some kind of traumatic event or crisis, or other serious problem. Knowledge yourself to save your loved ones from their addiction.

Please note on this website community, all posted questions are answered by our community members who are in-patients, out-patients, or voluntary help members. To assure quality of our online resources and integrity of our group, we have several guidelines for all of our members to follow. Any negligence to our guidelines is going to result with your membership removal, ban, articles/posts/comments removal or any other adequate consequences. Our recovery and rehab community group primary purpose is to help people who suffered with addictions to get and stay clean. Respecting and following our guidelines are going to help our community members finding their answers. We want to promote a clean, healthy, respectful recovery and rehab community group atmosphere where people are not afraid to ask questions, participate in this community and generally have a good life and sober living.

FIRST STEP RECOVERY AND REHAB COMMUNITY GROUP: RULES AND GUIDELINES

1. Do not post questions or ask our members how to get supplies for your addictions e.g. do not ask how you can get some drugs or drug prices.
2. Ask your medical and health question to your doctor. We cannot answer to any questions that something you must discuss only with your doctor such as Which medication you should be taking? How much dose do I have to take for my medication?
3. No cross-talking.
4. No profanity or swearing in subject lines, signatures or body.
5. No commercial solicitation outside the Classifieds/For Sale/Wanted community (“Classifieds”) is permitted.
6. No flaming of other members to incite or perpetuate a conflict or argument. ANY personal attacks or name calling will get you banned.
7. No bombing community or threads with pointless posts.
8. No linking or posting of pornographic or objectionable material.
9. Do not impersonate other individuals or falsely represent yourself.
10. Do not discuss, suggest, engage, or encourage any illegal activity on our community website. Linking to locations that deal with any such activity are also forbidden
11. Posting under secondary usernames or alias user names other than your main account for the purpose of arguing, degrading or belittling other readers is grounds for having your posting privileges revoked.
12. You must have a valid e-mail account in your profile so you can be reached by a forum moderator or administrator.
13. Respect our community members, website community’s moderators and administrators.
14. No SHOUTING. Don’t use all caps when posting.
15. Try to post your responses/comments to the most appropriate topic that is being presented.
16. Refrain from using profanity or creative spell1ng to get around the censor filters.
17. Respect the privacy of other members and individuals. Do not post personal information about them (i.e. addresses, phone numbers, passwords, etc.) without their consent.
18. Observe all copyright laws when posting copyrighted material.
19. Do not post messages that violate Federal, State, Provincial, or Local laws which include, but are not limited to, anything that violates a copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, or is bound by NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement).

First Step Recovery and Rehab Community Website’s Moderators and administrators frequently review posted articles, comments and messages for those that are in violation of these rules. Any articles, comments, and messages found to be in violation may be deleted without warning or explanation. We also reserves the right to ban any user, at any time, and for any reason.
